I’ve tried solid shampoos before and they got soggy, losing a lot of product because it stuck to the soap dish or dissolved into mush. I kept them on a shelf out of the shower, but it didn’t matter. I got the mini kit to try out and even without the beeswax, the base has prevented the product from being squishy. There is absolutely no product loss because it’s not touching a soap dish. I’m even able to leave it in my shower. It dries out fully due to the shape and base, making it last longer.
Now we come to how it cleans my hair. I have very fine hair that gets limp easily. It looks greasy quickly between washes so I had to wash daily. It has very little volume. It also gets very dry at the ends. All of these things have been improved by using this shampoo! I have volume, my hair is soft root to end, and I can go a bit longer between washes.
My daughter has cradle cap, despite not being an infant anymore. This shampoo keeps it from forming, leaving her scalp less sensitive. It also leaves her thick, wavy, waist length hair softer, shinier less tangle-prone, and healthier looking.
I have this product and very particular about what I put on my hair. I have long, thick, healthy naturally grey hair. This product was amazing. I travel between Texas, Costa Rica, and Vermont and it was so easy just to put this one stick in my makeup kit and move on with my life with wonderful great hair by Stem.
I think it’s a great product. My hair did feel healthy but when I was washing my hair, it just needed a little more moisturization otherwise I couldn’t pull my finger through my hair to rinse it off so I did have to use some other brands conditioner in order to loosen up the hair so that I can put my finger through my hair. But I do have to say that after drying my hair, my hair felt much healthier. I wish it was a little more conditioning so that my hair doesn’t have to be stuck when washing.
At first I though it was no good but it took some time to get used to it since I used liquid for so long. My hair is much smoother using Swell. Traveling is also super easy since it dries up. I'm on my second bar and have purchased more.

I got this on a whim because I was leaving for a two week trip to the coast and wanted something easier to take with me than liquid shampoo.
