Designing for the future.

Sprouting out of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, founders Charlie and Charlie are on a mission to use innovative product design and natural materials to create a more sustainable future.

How it Started

In the heart of San Luis Obispo, often hailed as "the happiest place on earth," our story began. Charlie and Charlie's paths converged during their studies at Cal Poly, united by a shared passion in their Product Design and Development class. Together, they posed a pivotal question: "Why don't we have eco-friendly products that outperform their plastic counterparts?"

Challenging the Status Quo

Dissatisfied with existing solutions, we set out to redefine eco-friendly personal care. We scrutinized plastic bottles and traditional soap bars, recognizing that while bars were eco-friendly, they often fell short in user experience. This realization sparked our journey of innovation.

The Eureka Moment

After countless brainstorming sessions and prototypes, inspiration struck. The idea of a smart beeswax shell emerged – a game-changing concept that would elevate the humble soap bar into a superior, eco-conscious product.

Our breakthrough came in the form of the Swell Bar. By encasing carefully formulated, powerful ingredients in an innovative beeswax shell, we created a product that's not just environmentally friendly, but genuinely superior in performance.
